Virginia Missions is promoting a theme this year that follows the grass roots movement that occurred in the early apostolic church. This movement functioned under the ideal of ministering in ‘every house’ with the goal that they may all be won! When you consider the cities and counties and the massive work that lies in front of us the natural question is, “Yes, but how?”. The answer is simple, start where you are. We are encouraging every pastor to look at where their people live, and start right there in their neighborhoods by reaching out with authentic apostolic love and vision to your neighbors.
It is a simple concept that could catch fire throughout the Virginia District and the United States. Matthew 7:12 teaches us to treat others they way we want to be treated. Jesus said, “Love your neighbor as yourself”. We encourage you to reach out to others in ways that would be effective in reaching you if you were still lost.
